Assistant Director, Multicultural Center

The University of Southern Indiana seeks an assistant director of multicultural center.  The assistant director plans, coordinates, implements, evaluates the diversity education, cross-cultural and social programs and events for the University.  The assistant director plays a key leadership role for this division of student affairs, including budgetary, programming quality, training both internal and external students, supervisory and rapport and relationship building skills.  A bachelor’s degree in student personnel, counseling and development, higher education or a similar field is required; master’s degree is strongly preferred.  Four to five years professional experience in student affairs, preferably in programming, diversity education, supervision and administration is required.  We are looking for a proven leader who has a strong personal interest in students who have varying cultural experiences, expectations and understandings.
