Last November, we took a look at a hot, up-and-coming Hispanic agency called OutoftheBlue - a full service advertising/marketing agency out of Miami, FL.  With its charismatic leader and founder Renny Tirador, the agency has been growing by leaps and bounds since its inception in 1999.  Tirador just put an exclamation point on his agency’s rise to the top by winning two awards at the local ADDY® Awards in Miami, Florida.

The two ADDY awards follow the six TELLY Awards the agency won last year.

The ADDY Awards are the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, recognizing creative excellence and the very best advertising worldwide. Sponsored by the American Advertising Federation(AAF), the ADDY Awards celebrate the true creative spirit of advertising by recognizing all forms of advertising, from all types of media, created by all sizes and types of entrants, from anywhere in the world.

The ADDY has 15 categories with numerous subcategories.  OutoftheBlue won in several categories including 15 Silver ADDYs for the Terremark “Hurricane campaign series.  The firm also won Silver ADDYs for Royal Caribbean Cruisetours, the Art Basel brunch invitation and a self-promotional piece called “Creative juice”.

OutoftheBlue won two Gold ADDYs in the Collateral category for creation of its holiday card, and another for the Art Basel invitation in the Advertising for Arts & Sciences category.

The End
