The Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council Hosts its 24th Annual Awards Gala and Selects Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. as its Corporation of the Year

The 2000 Award Recipients

The Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council, a regional member of the National Minority Supplier Development Council, is committed to building strong relationships between minority suppliers and major institutional buyers, such as corporations, government agencies and educational institutions. Each year, the GMSDC evaluates the contributions and performances of its members and recognizes those that best reflect the values and mission of the organization.  Awards are given to the best corporate buyer, the strongest advocate for minority business development, a corporate or government member who best demonstrates a public commitment to minority business development, the best minority suppliers, the best executive among GMSDC corporate members, and the best corporate member.  GMSDC issued a total of six awards this year.  The winners are shown below.
