Senior Leadership |
|
Senior Management's Perspective:

Mike Plant
Executive Vice President, Business
Operations
Atlanta Braves
"The
Atlanta Braves and Turner Field are
committed to expanding business
opportunities and strengthening our
supplier database with diverse
vendors. Our policy is to actively
seek out vendors and contractors
that can supply the commodities
needed for us to achieve our overall
business goals and objectives.
LoyLene Jefferson-Shaw was selected for
this recognition because of her
determination to do business and build a
relationship with the Atlanta Braves
organization. Her company
exemplifies the true meaning of business
partnership. It took LoyLene three
years to get her foot in the door with
our organization; but once she did, she
demonstrated her company's abilities to
supply our organization with great
products at a competitive price.
Sensational Gifts also has demonstrated
excellent customer service with
promptness in getting each product
delivered when needed. LoyLene has
supplied products to three different
Braves departments since partnering with
the organization (Baseball Operations,
Promotion Department, and Special
Events/Supplier Diversity Department). |

DBP Program Administrative Team |
|
The DBP Program Administrator's
Perspective:

Sabrina Jenkins
Director, Special Events
Atlanta BRAVES
DBP Program Administrator
"The
Atlanta Braves Supplier
Diversity Program was the
first within the TBS, Inc.
back in 1994. Since that
time, the Supplier Diversity
Program has been
administered through our
parent company. After the
sale of the team to Liberty
Media in 2007, our
organization had to redesign
the program in order to
manage it properly. The
biggest change to the
program in 2008 is the
addition of the supplier
diversity website that was
created to allow vendors to
go to
www.braves.com/supplierdiversity and
register with us directly.
LoyLene used the website to
register with us and has
since used it to stay
connected with the Braves
and to supply our
organization with quality
products at competitive
prices. |

"Serving
as Sr. Manager of Promotions
with the Atlanta Braves, I
depend on suppliers that provide
quality premium items that will

Loylene Jefferson-Shaw,
President of Sensational Gifts,
Ltd., is a leader in this
category. Loylene’s
dedication and professional
approach to every order that she
has received from our
organization has exceeded
expectations. The Atlanta
Braves Organization will
continue to be successful by
doing business with outstanding
partners like Loylene
Jefferson-Shaw."

Atlanta Braves will also hold each department accountable for
actively seeking out and building business relationships with
