We are pleased to recognize TailoRite
Cleaners as one of our ten
best diverse suppliers for
2005. This honor is
given in recognition of the
exceptional manner in which
TailoRite provided
mission-critical services to
the Chicago White Sox
during the 2005 season,
our
most important season in
decades!
With 81 home games, plus the
playoffs, the
White Sox required a dry
cleaning service that was
exceptional. We needed
TailoRite to pick up our
uniforms at the end of each
game, clean them, and the
have them back to us before
the start of the game the
next day.
While that might sound
simple, servicing our
players' uniforms often
involves extremely short
turn-around times. Pick up
times are determined by two
variables: 1)
the team's schedule, which
includes weekend and night
games, and 2) the length of
the game. A long night game
could mean a near- or post-midnight
pickup.
When our uniforms arrived at TailoRite's facility, they
were sorted, cleaned, and
made ready for delivery the
next day. Any repairs
that were needed were
likewise completed before
the next day.
During the 2005 season, visiting
clubs were able to request the same level
of service from TailoRite as
we received. Meeting our
high standards is
challenging enough, but
expertly servicing the
uniforms of two clubs really
requires an operation to be
at the top of its game.
Just imagine how difficult
things would be for an
equipment manager if the
uniforms were not ready when
the players arrived at the
stadium. Then imagine how
much worse things would be
if the opposing club's
uniforms were not ready.
Fortunately for us, we had
Joe Caldwell in 2005.
He and his staff came through for
the us 100 percent of the
time. In fact, TailoRite has
come through for the White
Sox the last 10 years.
I thank Joe Caldwell and his
enormously dedicated staff for
consistently providing the
Chicago White Sox with outstanding service, and for
their competitive pricing as
well. TailoRite is a
valuable supplier of the
White Sox organization, one that we look forward to
working with during the
2006 season.
