Plumbing is probably not something that
comes to mind when you think of a ball
park, but maintaining the plumbing
systems at U.S. Cellular Field is a
mission-critical function that must be
performed to ensure that our fans have a
favorable experience. Just imagine a
ball park without properly functioning
toilets and sinks. Then imagine
the impact on concession operations if
water supply lines and sinks were not
available.
In
fact, the administrative offices of the
Chicago White Sox are located in the
ball park, and without well maintained
bathrooms and cafeteria, our employees
could not work.
Since
the ball park is central to our year
round operations, it was critical that
we have a supplier that is able to
service every aspect of our facility's
plumbing systems.
In 2005, JSR Enterprises provided the
Chicago White Sox with outstanding
service and maintenance. During the
season, JSR Plumbing made all necessary
repairs to anything that involved water.
As our attendance grew last season, the
demand for water increased, and the
level of service and maintenance
required also increased. We are
thrilled that JSR Enterprises met the
challenge in championship fashion.
But
unlike our championship players, our
need for plumbing services did not stop
after the Chicago White Sox won the
World Series. At
the end of each season, all of the water
lines serving in the public areas of the
ball park have to be turned off and
drained to protect them from freezing
during Chicago's harsh winters.
This operation also expedites the
“opening” of the park for the following
season. JSR Enterprises handled
this
important operation for us, and we are
delighted with their performance.
On
every
occasion during the White Sox
championship run, JSR Enterprises
provided outstanding service. Therefore,
the Chicago White Sox are pleased to
recognize JSR Enterprises as our
preferred plumber and one of America's
Best Diverse Suppliers(R)
of 2005. We
also look forward to our tenth
successful season with JSR Enterprises.
